History book

This book tells the life of those who lived around the St. Lawrence estuary between the 14th and 20th centuries: the history of the First Nations, the Basque fishers, the arrival of the first explorers, the colonization attempts, and, finally, the establishment of small, permanent villages in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.

Each sphere contains one of the book’s chapters, which completes the tale told by the cutscenes. By collecting them, the players can heighten their understanding of the various periods they explored. The text describes the ways and lifestyles of the inhabitants of each of these periods. It also details different historical milestones that affected the territory, whether on it or abroad.
